Journals & Archives

Almost 40 years of pages, finally in one place

Our archival project includes gathering, organizing, scanning, and transcribing childhood diaries, handwritten notebooks, morning pages, cluster journaling, online entries, emails and texts about therapy, automatic and trance writing, poetry, system communication, therapy records, and anything else relevant to our life and healing.

We scan first, transcribe second, and date based on the recorded date or our best guess. If there is no date, it is listed as an approximate or unknown date and grouped by the years around it. If modifications were made to maintain privacy for everyone in our lives, it is noted. Entries that need care are marked with a content advisory, and the most sensitive material sits behind the restricted layers or stays out of the site entirely.

A lock-and-key diary with three years of entries and no dates on most pages. Grouped by the years around it and transcribed exactly as written.

Notebook: first year of therapy

The first notebook kept alongside therapy. Careful handwriting at the front, several different hands by the back.

Morning pages, one long stretch

Daily pages written before anything else. Repetitive on purpose, and quietly full of information we did not know we were recording.

Approximate / Unknown DateCluster journaling2010s

Cluster journaling sheets

Loose sheets where several insiders wrote around one centre word. Undated, so grouped by handwriting and by what was happening that year.

2014Online journaling2010s

Online journal entries

Posts written for a small audience, exported and kept here. Names and identifying details have been changed where needed.

2025System writing2020s

System writing and inner letters

Trance and automatic writing, letters left between insiders, and notes meant to be found later by whoever came next.

Content AdvisorySome transcribed pages describe abuse, self-harm, and severe dissociation in a child's or a young insider's words.Published entries carry their own advisory where one is needed.

Transcription is kept faithful. Where a page names another living person, or where detail would identify someone, we change or remove that detail and note that a modification was made. Nothing is invented and nothing is softened beyond that.
